Ferries to and from Rhubodach

Caledonian MacBrayne (CalMac) Ferries operates small, environmentally friendly hybrid vessels for sailings from Rhubodach. Facilities on board are limited as the journey time is short.

Rhubodach port facilities

The port of Rhubodach is a slipway and there are no facilities. The nearest amenities are in the towns of Ardbeg and Rothesay, approximately 7 and 8 miles away respectively.

By Car
The Isle of Bute is small and easy to navigate. The A886 leads to Rhubodach.

By Bus
The 490 bus service links Rhubodach with the main town of Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. There is a bus stop just a few metres from the slipway.
