Transport in and around the city is simple, with an extensive network of motorways connecting Marseille to the North, West and East, a railway station with direct services to Nice, Toulouse and Barcelona, and an extensive bus network that serves the city and the suburbs of Marseille.

There are four terminals that all share the same entrance points: one for those taking a vehicle onto the ferry and one for foot passengers. These are all in the "Gares Maritimes Sud" (southern terminals) district. All ferries from Marseille can be booked easily and securely online with AFerry.
