If you choose to take your car to the Isle of Man, you will discover that the roads of a high quality. Driving laws are very similar to the rest of the United Kingdom, though it is interesting that there are no speed limits. However, don't take this as an excuse to floor it - the roads are often narrow and windy.
There are a number of other ways to get around the island apart from using its roads.
